We are currently expanding our development activities in Italy and are looking for experienced professionals to join us on-site.
Purpose
Manage the end-to-end delivery of a hotel development project in Italy — from active design and construction phase through fit-out, pre-opening coordination and handover to operations. Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget and to the quality standards required by both Apex Alliance and the hotel brand partner.
Act as the primary on-site representative of Apex Alliance, coordinating all local contractors, consultants and authorities while maintaining structured reporting to the Group Development function.

Scope
* Single-property hotel development project in Italy
* Full lifecycle ownership from construction through to operational handover
* On-site project leadership and execution
* Budget ownership and cost control
* Coordination of brand standards and technical compliance
* Vendor and contractor management
* Regulatory and permitting oversight
Core Responsibilities
* Lead day‑to‑day construction and fit‑out activities on site
* Own project budget, cost tracking and change management
* Maintain and control project timeline and milestones
* Coordinate with brand technical teams to ensure compliance
* Manage contractor and consultant performance
* Oversee FF&E and OS&E procurement processes
* Ensure compliance with local regulations, permits and safety requirements
* Deliver structured reporting to Group (weekly/monthly)
* Coordinate pre-opening phase with hotel operations team
* Manage risks and mitigation plansEnsure smooth handover to operations (commissioning, snagging, opening readiness)
Requirements
Ideal Profile
* 5–10+ years of project management experience in hotel development (hospitality is a must)
* Proven track record delivering hotel projects from construction to openingExperience working in international environments; experience abroad is a strong advantage
* Experience in Italy or with Italian construction environment is a strong advantage
* Strong financial and budget management capabilities
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different countries and cultures
* Hands‑on, site-based working style
* Fluent English required; Italian is a strong advantage
* Structured and disciplined in reporting and documentation
