Business Unit Description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as an RFQ Specialist with a focus on mechatronics. This role presents a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the development of cutting-edge electronic products, contributing to our commitment to technological advancement and excellence. About the Role As an RFQ Specialist at Bitron, you will spearhead the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process, delving into complex technical landscapes and collaborating with global suppliers to define the best technical solutions. Your responsibilities will extend to designing PCBA architectures, optimizing assembly processes, and contributing to the creation of innovative electronic products. Responsibilities To manage all the steps of the RFQ flow (Request for Quotation) To analyze, to check and to understand whole customer documentation package, including functional, validation and cyber-security specifications To design complex PCBA architectures To develop concepts of optimized PCBA assembly processes To define the final HW BOM of innovative electronic products To design, develop and test prototypes of innovative electronic products To interface with suppliers of main PCBA suppliers in the global market, asking technical questions and defining the best technical choices for Bitron To interface with the technical experts of Bitron’s Customers, preparing and presenting technical documentation in dedicated workshop in the presence of the Technical and Purchasing Managements of Bitron and of Customers To define development plans of innovative electronic products To define the estimation of R&D development costs of innovative electronic products Requirements Proven knowledge of PCBA assembly processes Proven knowledge of PCBA supply chain management Basic knowledge of PCBA production lines setup Proven experience in a PCBA production Plant is a plus Very good skills in HW development for embedded systems Basic knowledge of cyber security global standards and algorithms Familiarity with electronic components, their market and their usage and application Who we are looking for A brilliant academic career, preferably in Engineering paths (Electronic Engineering preferred) Team building skills and problem solving approach Ability to multi-task and strong decision making management Availability to work in a flexible environment according to business priorities Good communication and interpersonal skills, fundamental to work with all levels of a worldwide global organization and with the main stakeholders on Customer side Proactivity, capability to manage time and to meet deadlines Desire to learn continuously new methods to evaluate components and technical/technological solutions How to be successful in the role and at Bitron: We are always on the lookout for ambitious individuals who share our values and are ready to embrace new challenges with one goal in mind: building the world of tomorrow.
