The Position

As Integrated Strategy Leader (ISL), you will be accountable for the local strategy to commercialize products/solutions in a disease area or other defined portfolio with the goal of bringing value to patients, the community, the system as a whole and delivering on a bold ambition for Roche's business.

In this role, you will lead a cross-functional fit-for-purpose team (Squad) that includes representatives from Medical, Access, Marketing, Field Customer Engagement and potentially other functions as you judge appropriate to develop and execute the local strategy.

You embody in-service leadership, developing all Squad members and building a high-performing team through mentoring and feedback.

You will drive a culture of collaboration with your peers, the GPS community, Pharma International and key affiliates to define and execute the most appropriate strategies that meet customers’ needs.

You will be a role model as a leader by exhibiting the Roche leadership behaviors (visioning, architecting, catalyzing, coaching) to drive change in the organization to meet Roche’s vision.

You have gained extensive experiences that are important for you to be effective in the Integrated Strategy Leader role, with the following preferences:

· Significant pharmaceutical customer-facing interactions such as product management, sales management and sales, medical, access, and/or customer facing roles with accountability for delivering results;

· Knowledge across multiple disease areas, different lifecycle stages and competitive markets

· Leading people with/without line authority, to mobilize systems and organizations to achieve meaningful outcomes;

· People coaching and talent development;

· Achieved results;

· Delivery of impactful presentations to senior management and the external environment;

· Holistic knowledge of drug development, commercialization and compliance;

· Leading commercial budgeting and forecasting processes.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree (marketing, business management, or life sciences preferred);Achieved results;

· MBA or other relevant Graduate or Post-Graduate Degree is preferred;

· At least 10 years of multidisciplinary experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry.

Your responsibilities

· Set the vision of your products/solution, for the delivery of compelling external stakeholder (e.g. patient, HCP, payer) value and experience in a way that is sustainable for Roche;

· Build, lead and evolve a fit-for-purpose Squad to co-create and execute integrated strategies that improve both patient and commercial value for your responsible product/solution portfolio;

· Defines DA' outcomes by valuing the contributions of all squad members, facilitating periodic discussions of the level of achievement of short and medium term outcomes and coordinates retrospectives with a view of continuous improvement;

· Maintain up-to-date event-based revenue and volume forecast scenarios for your products/solutions;

· Lead the Squad to define strategic initiatives that support the short and long term outcomes for your responsible product/solution portfolio ensuring effective investments plan;

· Collaborate in the broader community (GPS, PI) to define and execute work packages that support outcomes realization;

· Coach individuals to help develop their leadership (VACC) behaviors and inspire them to meet their on-going personal career development and progression goals;

· Co-lead the continuous journey of transformation and growthwithin the affiliate;

· Act as a single point of contact for the Leadership Team regarding the DA strategy;

· Communicate strategies, outcomes and actions as required with senior leaders;

· Act as direct interface to GPS (i.e.Affiliate Forum);

· Act as a guardian for high standards of compliance, ethics and safety; putting patients at the center of all actions by consistent behavior that complies with applicable laws, industry codes and Roche’s Code of Conduct.

Specific Selection Requirements:

· Fluent in Italian and English;

· Global travel expected to be less than 30%.
