R&D Supervisor
R&D Supevisor
We are looking for a R&D Supervisor to join our R&D Team based in Cermenate (Co), Italy.
How you make the difference
The position will play a crucial role in supporting our Global R&D Team and you will be responsible for driving new product development and improvement projects from the concept to the commercialization along the Innovation process, ensuring Brand Quality and Food Safety standards. The role will be also responsible of technical aspects from the lab to the plant.
How Your Agenda Looks Like
* Scouting and testing of new ingredients and technologies
* Product formulation using both technical and culinary approaches, with a focus on ingredient interactions during the production process, taste optimization, and recipe development
* Support to Marketing in tasting sessions and consumer research
* Coordination of industrial trials and oversight of pilot production in collaboration with Operations and Quality teams
* Support to Industrial and Supply Chain teams in production transfer and backup production activities
* Preparation of technical documentation, including recipes, technical sheets, nutritional value definitions, and process descriptions
* Reporting on experiments, tests, and development projects
* Close collaboration with global Marketing teams to ensure product development aligns with brand strategies and market demands
* Contribution to the definition of technical solutions that support breakthrough innovation, in line with the company's long-term strategy

What Makes You a Great Fit
* Education: Master Degree in Food Science and Technologies or similar;
* Work Experience: Minimum of 7-8 years in a similar role;
* Technical Skills: Good knowledge and passion for Food Industry;
* Language: Proficiency in Italian and English is required, Spanish/French is nice to have;
* Avalilability to travel;
* 360° technical apporach;
* Detail-oriented, analytical skill
* Team leading, multifunctional team working spirit
* Previous experience in thermal process (e.g. pasteurization and sterilization) and in regulatory in international markets context is a nice to have
