We are currently looking for a
Software Safety Assurance Engineer
Position will be based in: Bologna, Roma or Bari (10 days/month smart working)
The Role
The selected candidate, reporting to the Regional Center Safety Manager, will be responsible for managing, performing, and ensuring activities related to safety assurance for different projects, defining and delivering safe solutions.
In particular, the candidate will:
1. Coordinate all Safety Assurance activities on the project;
2. Perform Safety analysis, manage Hazard Log, review Engineering activities from a Safety perspective;
3. Define safety plan and manage safety workload and planning;
4. Support tenders and teams to integrate products into projects;
5. Build Safety Reports and Safety Cases;
6. Apply safety assurance methodologies;
7. Attend and contribute to periodic Safety Reviews;
8. Defend Safety Case argumentations before internal and external assessors;
Define and follow-up action plans to close findings of assessors.
Educational and Professional Requirements
1. Advanced University or Engineering degree;
2. 1 or 2 years of experience in a similar Safety Assurance role within industries such as Automotive, Medical, Aerospace, Railway;
3. Good knowledge of Safety Standards (preferably CENELEC or equivalent standards like AREMA, IEEE, etc.) and safety methodologies & concepts;
4. Ability to interact with stakeholders in an international environment;
5. Resilient and proactive attitude.
