Purpose of the Job:
* Drive the execution of assigned projects according to contractual requirements and customer expectations, maximizing results concerning cash and margin while delivering on time and in conformity with Alstom project management and execution processes.
* Be accountable for project QCDP (Quality, Cost, Delivery, People) and project EHS (Environment, Health, Safety).
* Ensure Alstom's legal and contractual rights are protected.
* Seek and propose additional opportunities to the Customer Director / Platform.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Be accountable for project quality, cost, delivery, and people performance; optimize project financial performance (margin & cash).
2. Define project strategy in line with contract requirements, including PMP elaboration and objectives allocation to sub-systems.
3. Lead and coordinate project activities and stakeholders from transfer to close-out, including proper transfer from tender to project, defining project objectives, managing resources, and ensuring stakeholder alignment.
4. Manage project progress, KPIs, reports to senior management, and ensure compliance with applicable rules, instructions, and standards.
5. Manage customer and external stakeholder relationships, ensuring contractual alignment and managing variations, claims, and litigations if needed.
Educational Requirements:
Master Degree in Engineering or similar, or proven experience in the Rail field and in a similar role.
Experience:
2-3 years experience as a subsystem/component manager, qualified project manager, or operational scope manager. Experience working in multinational companies and different cultures is desirable. Knowledge of ALSTOM processes is a plus.
