All these activities are leveraged on active continuous participation of CESI Dam Safety personnel to the main scientific and technological committees and international working groups, in addition to the daily effort to stay on the functional and technological leading edges. /ppbTeam and location /b As Dam Safety Expert, The Candidate Will Contribute To The CESI Team Devoted To Dam Safety That Assists The Final Clients, Typically Dam – Concrete, Rockfill And Earth – Concessionaires For Hydroelectric, Reclamation, And Drinking Water Distribution In: /p ul liSafety assessments, /li liSafety checks by linear and nonlinear dynamic and static numerical models, /li liMainly revamping or adaptation design of dams and appurtenant works /li /ul pAfter a first period of integration and training, the activity will be carried out mainly in the CESI Office of Seriate. The role could require periods out of the office (Italy and abroad), both on-site and at Client premises, for meetings and operative activities. /p h3Job Description /h3pA well-developed technical standing together with the ability of establishing a deep understanding in the team are key aspects. The candidate will be called to participate in different activities of Dam Safety assessment: /p ul liContribute, through his strong technical background in dam safety, to the team technical achievements and to the upgrade of quality of CESI services; /li liProvide technical coordination of specialist's activities within the project, monitoring and evaluating the activities and assuring timely/quality deliveries to the Clients; /li liSupport CESI commercial offering in Italy and abroad. /li /ul h3What Cesi Is Looking For /h3pbEducation Level and Certifications: /b /pul liMaster's Degree in civil engineering (with high degree score) /li liSolid and comprehensive technical skills in dam safety encompassing CESI services /li liInvolvement in National or International Dam Safety Committees (plus) /li liProfessional courses and habilitations in Dam Safety (plus) /li liRegistration in the professional register for signing projects (must) /li /ul h3Expertise /h3ul liSafety checks: norms and regulatory issues /li liNumerical modelling, static and dynamic, concerning earth and concrete dams for structural assessment /li liBehaviour models of dams by Monitoring data processing /li liDam Safety Assessments covering hydrological-hydraulic, geological, structural topics /li liDesign of dams and appurtenant works (mainly revamping or adaptation) /li /ul pYears of Experience: at least 15 years /p pLanguages: Italian, English. Fluency in English is required.
