We're looking for a Transportation Coordinator in Reggio Emilia. Primary Purpose of RoleCoordination of all Export and Import Activities of the Plant and related Team.Main Opportunities & ChallengesWorking in a multinational environment, with multi functional teams and strong collaboration .Possibility to have a 360 view on Logistic and Supply Chain environment. Key Responsibilities Manage Transportation and Shipment Team (4 people), in order to Ship On Time and Minimize costs to all our Main Customers and Subsidiaries.Organizing all Transportation processes and picking from Suppliers and between different plants; Implementing Bonded Warehouse for Overseas Suppliers and Milk Run logic to Italian ones to leverage Transportation costs ; Management of triangularoperations and Issues of related documentation.Manage All Import documentation and coordinate information and physical flow between suppliers, customs agent /broker and forwardersCoordinate Shipment Team, working closely with Production Streams and Customer Service team, in order to Maximize Monthly Turnover and Targets.Monthly Contact with Main Transport Forwarders, giving feedback on Service Levels and requesting update quotations.
