Reporting to the Group Manufacturing Engineering Fabric & Dish Care Technology and Architecture Director you will be the main partner to R&D leading Manufacturing Engineering activities related to new products – Washing Machines - in the earliest stages of the development, cooperating with Global R&D FC/DC, GME FC/DC Business Areas and Automation & Simulation, GME Automation, GME Common Core Technologies, Global Capex, Global Digital Industrial Operation, IT, Global Purchasing and Quality.In detail, you will:· Partner to R&D Product Architecture and Technology· Partner to Global Purchasing to component supply strategy· Lead pre-studies as new architectures, new modules, new technologies· Drive Technical Opportunity Assessments for Manufacturing Engineering· Responsible to provide inputs to R&D in order to apply the concepts of Design For Assembly, Design for Manufacturing, Design for Automated Assembly and modularity till CP00 (closure of product design phase, start of industrialization)· Work with Lean Engineering during the development of new products to create first draft of labour map· Apply technology roadmap· Identify the roadmap for defects detectability within manufacturing processes in cooperation with Quality · Reference for cost reduction initiatives on Global Architectures· Drive benchmarking within Electrolux and CompetitorsQualifications:Go the extra mile - You take initiative and work proactively to deliver results.A true team player - You work in a Matrix Organization and with virtual Teams.Problem-solver - You see challenge as opportunity.Communicative - Whether face-to-face or on the phone, you can communicate plans and articulate your ideas with colleagues at all levels.Agile - Both reactive and proactive, you work efficiently and flexibly, to deliver results.
