We are currently seeking aProduction Plannerto join our dynamic team in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy!
The Production Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating manufacturing activities to ensure efficient production flow, on-time delivery, and optimal inventory levels. This role works closely with production, procurement, logistics, and sales to balance customer demand with manufacturing capacity.
What kind of work will you be doing?
- Develop and maintain production plans and schedules based on demand forecasts, customer orders, and capacity constraints
- Monitor production progress and adjust plans to address delays, shortages, or capacity issues
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure material and capacity availability
- Analyze MRP outputs and take corrective actions for shortages or excess inventory
- Communicate production plans, changes, and priorities to internal stakeholders
- Track key planning KPIs such as OTD, schedule adherence, and inventory levels
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning processes
- Participate in S&OP; / demand review meetings as required
What will make you successful?
- 2–5 years of experience in production planning or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Cyberplan)
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities
- Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement tools
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with planning tools is a plus
