Job OverviewAWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.Verifichi qui sotto se possiede i requisiti per questa possibilità e, in tal caso, invii la sua candidatura il prima possibile.Amazon seeks a self‑starter to join the AWS Energy team that sits within the AWS Infrastructure Services org to pioneer the future for data center utility power.The role focuses on developing and executing a comprehensive strategy for energy delivery across AWS data centers in the Americas, managing multiple large‑scale power infrastructure projects, and driving cost‑saving initiatives while maintaining safety, security, and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of a comprehensive utilities strategy for AWS data centers in the AMER regions.Manage multiple utilities, EPCs, and owner’s engineers to deliver medium and high voltage power infrastructure, including negotiations and contracting.Develop and execute energy strategies that leverage capital projects—utility grid connections, high voltage substations, energy storage, etc.—to reduce long‑term energy costs and manage capital budgets for electrical infrastructure.Collaborate with Amazon CFE / RE teams to support strategic energy sourcing opportunities.Execute electricity supply contracts to create new clean energy capacity on the grid, reduce cost, minimize risk, and leverage opportunities that benefit Amazon.Manage a portfolio of complex energy projects and collaborate with internal teams and regulated utilities to meet business timelines.Identify and develop innovative cost‑saving projects (capital and operational) related to energy infrastructure and supply.Perform due diligence on in‑market opportunities and develop them into cost savings for the business.Work with utility regulators to develop policies and guidelines that enable broader AWS strategies and objectives.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equival
