Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced Sr. Technical Program Manager who will be responsible for providing global product compliance technical program management and leadership to ensure that all electrical, mechanical, material, and other regulated performance specifications are satisfied in all countries where AWS business exists or will expand. AWS is at the forefront of providing a broad set of global cloud‐based services including compute, storage, databases, networking, and enterprise applications, to help organizations move faster, lower IT costs, and scale. GTPC is responsible for ensuring that the infrastructure equipment necessary to support the AWS services are developed, imported, exported, and operated in a compliant manner across the multiple countries where AWS operates and will expand, including all product certification/safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be part of the Product Compliance Engineering team within AWS Global Trade and Regulatory Compliance team (GTPC) that collaborates with Datacenter Engineering, Product Engineering, Compliance Engineers, Regulatory Analyst, legal, trade strategy, and supply chain to implement compliance specifications and policies, provide product compliance support during product development, builds compliance programs to support AWS Datacenter Infrastructure, Datacenter Robotics, Region Service Business, and Health & Safety businesses including Datacenter Basis of Design (BOD) lifecycle management, hardware technology development and deployment, new region planning and launches.
- You will develop compliance specification and plan, troubleshoot and resolve compliance issues that arise in the course of AWS's NPI and other business processes.

Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams
- Experience managing programs across cross‐functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 5+ years of experience in managing product compliance projects and familiar with technical domains in safety, EMC, restricted substance, and/or electrical and fire code compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing projects across cross‐functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi‐million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- 8+ years of experience in managing product compliance for new product development and system deployment in power infrastructure industry, robotics, or equipment manufacturers.
