The name 7Pines originates from the birthplace of the brand: Ibiza. When the Ancient Greeks first discovered the islands of Ibiza and Formentera, they baptized them Pityuses, literally “pine-covered islands.” Ever since, Ibiza has been referred to as the “Pine Island.” So when our first resort was in its development stage, in a location surrounded by pine trees, the name of 7Pines naturally arose to pay tribute to the laid-back lifestyle and enjoyment of life so deeply rooted in Ibiza.


Position Overview

A Bar Manager takes responsibility for the financial success of the Cone Club Bar. They have a range of duties, including administrative, leadership, and practical tasks. Their main function is to ensure that they serve and run the bar efficiently and that the customer has the best possible experience. They are also responsible for the success and development of their staff. Their main duties and responsibilities include:

1. Leading a small team of bar staff by example, pitching in to help with drink mixing or table service where necessary.
2. Ensuring that the front-of-house is fully staffed, particularly during peak times.
3. Meeting sales and profitability targets.
4. Creating a welcoming environment for customers.
5. Ensuring consistent, high-quality beverages are served to customers.
6. Dealing with customer feedback and providing adequate solutions to customer complaints.
7. Creating a positive work environment for staff and encouraging their career development.
8. Monitoring inventory of beverages to ensure adequate stock.
9. Overseeing the cleanliness of staff and the physical bar area and paying attention to possible health hazards and regulation violations.


Requirements

A Bar Manager needs at least two years of experience working within a busy bar, pub, or restaurant environment. Excellent knowledge of the day-to-day running of a bar is essential for success in the role.

A Bar Manager requires leadership experience and should have proven experience managing accounts, taking payments, and setting budgets. Experience meeting sales targets is essential, while experience in marketing is looked upon positively. Experience in a customer-facing role and providing excellent customer service is a must in this position.


Education and Training Requirements

At least 2 years' experience in the position;
knowledge of English and Italian;
strong leadership skills.
