Role overview We are seeking a talented Analytics Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions that empower our business teams. You will play a key role in transforming raw data into clean, reliable datasets, building interactive dashboards, and ensuring data quality and reliability. Your work will directly impact decision-making and business growth.
Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable data models. Transform raw data into clean, reliable datasets for business stakeholders. Implement automated data quality tests to ensure trust and reliability. Build and maintain interactive dashboards to visualize key business metrics. Apply software engineering best practices to analytics code (e.g., version control, CI/CD). Write clear technical documentation for data lineages and metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal). Solid experience in analytics engineering or a related data role. Expertise in advanced SQL and Python. Proficiency with dbt (data build tool) and modern cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery). Experience defining and maintaining semantic layers. Proficiency with spreadsheet software (e.g., Google Sheets) for handling legacy reports. Experience with Git and version control workflows. Understanding of data privacy best practices (e.g., PII masking, GDPR). Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Holistics, Looker) and how they consume data. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to data quality.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of Google Cloud services (e.g., Cloud Build, Vertex AI Pipelines). Experience with data orchestration tools. Familiarity with ETL (e.g., Fivetran) and Reverse ETL tools (e.g., Census). Basic understanding of machine learning concepts. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Professional proficiency in Italian.
