H3Regional Procurement Manager, Global Procurement Organization /h3pWe are currently seeking a Regional Procurement Manager to lead and manage a team geographically dispersed site Site Procurement Managers. This individual will lead their team to provide meaningful procurement solutions and deliver against key performance indicators to contribute against regional procurement and local operational FC goals. They will integrate with key site and regional operational and support leaders driving procurement contributions. /pbr/h3Key job responsibilities /h3olliHire and develop a strong team able to deliver procurement solutions and scale with the network demands on a long term planning horizon. /liliLead team to develop and manage a dependable, cost effective and high performing supply chain for locally managed goods and services. /liliEnsure network-wide standardization for all procurement related processes and Amazon operations locations service activities. /liliPartner with internal customers to positively influence spending decisions. /liliLead sourcing engagements, as well as sourcing teams, as you identify new opportunities and RFXs, where appropriate. /liliAnalyze and determine opportunities to leverage and rationalize the supply base, using smart analytical tools and techniques. /liliImplement supplier agreements/contracts, by working with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers as you reach agreement on contract terms and conditions. /liliParticipate with start-up teams for new, local Amazon buildings, setting up local suppliers and services, including working with cross-functional teams to secure long lead time capital purchases, optimizing indirect procurement supply chain and establishing multi-year contracts. /liliDrive 100% compliance to policies and procedures with operations partners. /liliDrive elimination of ‘waste’ within Procurement processes in order to define best and standardized practice across the network. /li /olbr/h3BASIC QUALIFICATIONS /h3olliBachelor’s degree preferably in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or Finance or equivalent. /liliRelevant sourcing experience. /liliPrevious management experience. /liliMotivation to learn, develop and perform in a fast-paced environment. /liliProven project management skills and experience. /liliAbility to thrive in an ambiguous environment. /liliAttention-to-detail, alongside proven ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities. /liliFamiliarity with procurement systems (e.g. Oracle, Coupa, and SAP). /liliMicrosoft Excel skills, alongside willingness to learn proprietary systems. /liliExperience with metrics creation and data presentation. /liliProficient in Italian and English (written and spoken). /li /olbr/h3PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS /h3olliAdvanced degree such as a Masters in Procurement. /liliAdvanced Supply chain certifications. /liliAdvanced Analytics and communication skills and experience. /liliPrevious experience in Operations/Supply Chain/Logistics/Ecommerce. /li /olbr/pAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
