Main Activities and Responsibilities Drive the implementation of the FCMs compliance framework (including strategy, policy, procedures, programs, and systems) for Packaging PVM products; Monitor and interpret legislative developments and technical requirements in key markets, indirectly through local packaging or directly (no Regulatory support in this area); Assess impact on packaging materials and derive necessary action plans collaborating with local packaging departments, procurement, quality teams, suppliers, and external laboratories; Identify testing needs and establish appropriate protocols. Assess outcomes from testing laboratories and drive conclusions; Perform risk assessments as necessary; Serve as the primary contact for local packaging organizations and support educational initiatives; Support the implementation and maintenance of a system to keep detailed records about FCMs, including Declarations of Compliance (DoCs) and other documentation; Build and maintain a network of external service providers (e.g., testing laboratories, legislation monitoring, trainings); Collaborate within the Group R&D Packaging Sustainability & Compliance team to streamline the overall Packaging Compliance process. Our Perfect Candidate Degree in a scientific discipline (food science, material science, chemistry or pharmaceutical technology / Pharmacy or biology / biotechnology, toxicology or others); 8 years of proven success in a similar position within an international setting, including a minimum of 3 years in the Food Industry; In-depth understanding of food contact regulations, standards, and testing methodologies, and their practical application; Strong analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail; Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills; Excellent time-management, organizational, and project management skills; Ability to persuade and motivate others, fostering collaboration and securing buy-in for initiatives; Ability to identify and communicate risks and opportunities related to packaging compliance to non-technical stakeholders; Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and culturally diverse team environment; Capacity to prioritize and complete projects and tasks, exercising judgment, initiative, and discretion; Experience in managing highly confidential matters.
