To lead our Italian Operations team, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Operations. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing and optimizing our operations to support continued business growth.
You will lead the Operations department and be a member of our Country Management team, working with senior leaders to deliver long-term business strategies.
What is your role?
* Develop and implement multi-year plans for your area of responsibility, anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities, and ensuring alignment with the wider company strategy.
* Lead teams, oversee operational activities, and foster excellent partnerships with internal clients.
* Manage and report on the performance of a diverse team of about 70 people (both permanent and temporary), including 5 direct reports.
* Ensure compliance with HSE legislation and promote a safety-first culture within the site.
* Oversee transportation processes to ensure customer satisfaction, minimize costs, and optimize delivery times.
* Supervise site maintenance, statutory compliance, and the general upkeep of the building and grounds.
Who are you?
* Proven success in managing logistics functions.
* Experience in facilities management and transportation.
* Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, safety systems, and compliance requirements.
* Strong leadership and team management skills with excellent communication abilities.
* Ability to analyze data, monitor KPIs, and drive performance.
* Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
* Proficiency in business English (B2 / C1 level).
