Roma hosts the commercial offices to be close to Costumer and Public Administration. /p pWe are looking to hire a Cybersecurity Expert with an analytical mind and a detailed understanding of cybersecurity methodologies. Cybersecurity Experts are expected to have meticulous attention to detail, outstanding problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure, and deliver on tight deadlines. /p pTo ensure success, a senior Cybersecurity Expert must display an excellent understanding of technology infrastructures using Firewalls, VPN, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, SIEM, Web-Proxy, and Security Audits. Top candidates will be comfortable working with a variety of technologies, security problems, troubleshooting of the network and have experience in incident analysis, support and remediation. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liPlanning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organization’s data, systems, and networks. /li liWrite RMF-based policies and procedures, and develop comprehensive cybersecurity processes to contain implementation. /li liTroubleshooting security and network problems. /li liResponding to all system and/or network security breaches. /li liEnsuring that the organization’s data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls. /li liParticipating in the change management process. /li liTesting and identifying network and system vulnerabilities. /li liDaily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with the relevant departments in the organization. /li liEvaluating the organization’s security needs and establishing best practices and standards accordingly. /li liDesigning, implementing, maintaining, overseeing, and upgrading all security measures needed to protect the organization’s data, systems, and networks. /li liResponding to all security breaches to the network and associated systems. /li liTroubleshooting all network and security issues and incidents. /li liRoutinely conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessment. /li liTaking appropriate security measures to ensure that the organization’s infrastructure and existing data are kept safe. /li liConducting testing and scans to identify any vulnerabilities in the network and system. /li liTaking an active role in the change management process. /li /ul h3Main tasks /h3 ul liAct as a key advisor on cybersecurity matters, supporting both technical teams and business stakeholders in aligning security with organizational objectives. /li liLead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of advanced cybersecurity architectures for IT, OT, Cloud, and hybrid environments. /li liCoordinate and guide vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and red team/blue team exercises to ensure proactive threat identification and mitigation. /li liMonitor and analyze security incidents, leading root cause analysis and driving effective remediation and lessons-learned processes. /li liDevelop and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with international frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, NIS2, IEC 62443). /li liCollaborate with risk management, compliance, and legal teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (GDPR, DORA, ACN guidelines). /li liProvide technical mentoring and knowledge transfer to junior engineers and colleagues, fostering a culture of cybersecurity awareness. /li liLead the evaluation, selection, and integration of innovative cybersecurity tools (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, threat intelligence platforms). /li liSupport crisis management and incident response exercises, including collaboration with CSIRT/CSOC teams. /li liReport regularly to senior management on cybersecurity posture, risks, and improvement opportunities. /li liContribute to the evolution of the company’s cybersecurity products and services portfolio by providing technical expertise, feedback from operations, and identification of emerging customer needs. /li liActively support pre-sales and solution design activities, collaborating with business development teams to adapt and tailor the company’s cybersecurity offerings to client requirements. /li /ul pAt Thales we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
