Manages the commercial relationship, RFP process, financial analysis, and carrier performance, as well as the day-to-day execution support for import, export, and domestic transportation. Supports both manufacturing and distribution. Experience managing all modes of transportation is required. Responsibilities: Coordinate and handle queries, escalations, and issues related to specific shipments from internal customers (local logistics teams, planning, customer service, sales, etc.). Lead RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes, including bid execution and negotiation of transportation pricing, service, and quality. Process spot quote requests and approvals from internal stakeholders. Maintain and communicate transit time changes in SAP. Support and coordinate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts. Consolidate monthly performance and financial reports received from forwarders. Assist the Finance department with monthly accruals in close collaboration with local transportation teams. Update and share monthly fuel surcharge information for all modes of transport. Manage carrier performance. Conduct financial analysis. Lead in RFQ/Tenders. Serve as SME in regional or local projects. Follow up on regional transportation complaints. Host recurring calls with carriers and forwarders for all regional rail, ocean, and road shipments.
