From the division Sunset Hotels & Resorts, we are looking for
Director of Revenue Management and Distribution
for METT Milan Torre Velasca, our new
Residences and Suites
project, in the iconic Torre Velasca building in the heart of
Milan.
Main responsibilities
* Develop an overall pricing strategy to include all market segments and distribution channels.
* Lead a multi-channel distribution strategy ensuring optimal mix across direct bookings, OTAs, GDS, consortia, and strategic partnerships. Ensure visibility on luxury-specific platforms.
* Provide guidance on corporate transient, group & wholesale pricing for short stays and a clear strategy on long stay proposals.
* Effectively manage and be in control of all inventory (transient, group, long stays and other) and pricing strategy in all distribution channels including branded web, 3rd party sites and the GDS.
* Pro-actively identify need periods and prepare a need period plan, in cooperation with hotel Sales & Marketing, & Corporate/Regional resources.
* Clearly communicate to the hotel team the strategic vision and objectives on how to drive revenue and improve performance.
* Lead the property's weekly Revenue Management meeting and contribute to the Daily Operations Meeting
* Drive top-line performance by developing dynamic pricing strategies and overseeing the annual budget process across rooms and ancillary revenue streams.
Qualifications
* BA degree in Hotel Management, Finance or similar
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Revenue Management in hospitality industry (5* hotel or resort)
* Must have hands-on expertise in SynXis CRS, Duetto RMS, Siteminder (or equivalent Channel Manager), and strong working knowledge of Opera Cloud and Business Intelligence tools to optimize revenue and connectivity.
* Must demonstrate an acute understanding of the lifestyle hospitality segment and be able to align pricing and distribution strategies with the brand ethos of METT – one that emphasizes relaxed luxury and experiential travel
* Proven knowledge of distribution and booking trends in key feeder markets such as the UK, GCC countries, Scandinavia, Benelux, and domestic Italian luxury travel segments. Able to tailor strategies to tap into high-value clientele from these regions.
* Proven understanding of MICE business in shoulder and peak season and optimization of event space pricing in collaboration with Sales Team
* Good command of spoken and written English and Italian. Any other language is a plus
* Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
