We are looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals to join us as Operations Managers. In this role, you will lead and develop a team of salaried and hourly employees, ensuring safety, quality, attendance, and performance are maintained at high levels. You will provide your team with the necessary tools for success and drive improvements in productivity and efficiency through data-driven decisions and analytical problem-solving. You will also play a key role in meeting customer expectations by ensuring timely delivery of orders. Our Operations workflow comprises three major components: First mile (product housed and ready for order), Middle mile (product transported to your area), and Last mile (product delivered to the customer). While workflows may vary slightly by building, our vision remains focused on customer satisfaction. We open new Operations sites annually, offering various opportunities for professional growth. We hire Operations Managers based on location preferences and current openings. Key Responsibilities: Support, mentor, and motivate your team of salaried and hourly employees Lead large-scale projects with site and regional impact Develop and implement productivity plans through forecast reviews and workload balancing Manage safety, quality, productivity, and delivery commitments Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources teams to meet business objectives Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach Stand and walk for up to 12 hours during shifts Work in environments with variable noise levels and temperatures, including outdoor loading areas Climb and descend stairs as required Basic Qualifications: 3 years of employee and performance management experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2 years of Amazon (blue badge / FTE) experience Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays Preferred Qualifications: 1 years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
