Position Summary

We are looking for a Plant Administrator to join the STERIS team in Biassono's plant.

This role provides administrative support for the Italian AST (Applied Sterilisation Technologies) facilities, contributing to the overall success and operation of the region. Responsibilities include invoicing, facility purchasing, office equipment maintenance, sales/customer support, supplier management, reception duties, minute taking, and other office functions as directed by the supervisor. The role also involves maintaining records, files, contracts, payroll (if applicable), purchase orders, accounts payable/receivable (if applicable), and preparing special reports. Maintaining confidentiality and contributing to regional initiatives and continuous improvement are also key aspects of this role.


Duties


Operational Excellence

* Conduct purchasing activities for all Italian AST facilities, including requisitions, purchase orders, supplier setup, and inventory control.
* Administer invoicing processes, ensuring accurate data entry.
* Support financial control through monitoring supplies, ordering within budget, and generating financial reports.
* Maintain employee records and coordinate activities related to staff wellbeing, such as health checks and training.
* Manage facility office equipment, report malfunctions, and coordinate repairs or replacements.
* Ensure confidentiality of company information and adhere to all policies, GMP, and Lean principles.


Customer Relationships

* Greet visitors, direct them appropriately, and maintain security protocols.
* Distribute PPE as needed and handle customer correspondence with proper approvals.
* Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for visitors and staff.
* Communicate professionally and proactively with customers and employees.


Education

* High School Diploma or GED


Required Experience

* Minimum of 2 years in clerical, administrative, or similar roles.
* Proficiency in MS Office suite.
* Ability to work independently and adapt to changing responsibilities.
* Effective interpersonal skills.


Preferred Experience and Skills

Additional preferred skills and experience are not specified but may include familiarity with healthcare procedures, customer service, or office management.
