Position Summary
In this role you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems. Performing preventive maintenance requirements. Performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory. Essential responsibilities and activities include, but are not limited to:
1. Leading teams on small moderately complex installation projects
2. Conducting and documenting daily tool box talks
3. Installing all head end equipment at both the local and global level per design packages
4. Programming head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems
5. Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level
6. Providing on-site software commissioning and testing
7. Performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory
Position / Candidate Requirements
8. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including, for access to classified information; DoD Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance minimum required
9. Requires a Valid driver's license
10. This position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle. Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance to our policy
11. Education: HS diploma or GEDMilitary Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) orGraduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program orGraduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program orAn additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities
12. Required Progressive Experience: 10+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs3 years of the above experience must be focused in electronic security systems
13. Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills
14. Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams
15. Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives
16. Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills is a plus
Desired / Advantageous Qualifications
17. Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems
18. Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, Aiphone Intercom Systems AIphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows operating systems & certifications and experience in installation of said systems
19. Lenel, Milestone certifications, Southwest Microwave, Intelliflex
Abilities:
20. Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period of time
21. Relocates a 12 foot stepladder without assistance
22. Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders
23. Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis
24. Possess good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English
25. May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools
26. Tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem
27. Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
28. Combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (including finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events)
29. See details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
30. Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
