Ph3Overview /h3pWe are seeking a Hardware Engineer to take ownership of the full product lifecycle—from concept through validation—ensuring compliance with automotive standards, as well as high reliability and performance. This is a newly created position in a rapidly growing and innovative market, offering the opportunity to work on projects involving completely new technologies for electric and hybrid vehicles. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop forward-thinking solutions for next-generation mobility. Key responsibilities include the design and development of high-voltage BLDC motor controllers for automotive cooling fan applications. /ph3Your Responsibilities /h3ulliDevelop high-voltage BLDC motor controllers, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection (MOSFETs, IGBTs, gate drivers, capacitors) /liliOptimize designs for efficiency, thermal management, and EMI/EMC compliance /liliRun simulations to assess circuit behaviour and thermal performance (SPICE, MATLAB / Simulink) /liliLead the activities for building samples and prototypes before the start of serial production; define testing requirements to validate the prototype /liliPrototype testing using oscilloscopes, power analysers, and environmental chambers /liliConduct EMI/EMC testing and troubleshoot issues /liliValidate designs according to automotive standards (ISO 26262, AEC-Q100/101) /liliProduce final documentation for PCBA production (BOM - schematic - Gerber file - component specification) /liliCollaborate with our international team of engineers /li /ulh3Your Profile /h3ulliBSc or MSc degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related /liliIdeally more than 3 years of relevant experience in automotive industry /liliPrevious working experience with High Voltage power electronics (specifically automotive BLDC motor controllers) is mandatory /liliRelevant knowledge in areas of automotive communication protocols, DVPR processes and automotive standards /liliProficiency in Altium Designer, Cadence and simulation tools (LTSPICE, MATLAB) /liliGood English language skills are mandatory; French or German would be advantage /liliTeamwork oriented and able to utilize his skills in a multicultural environment /liliProminent professional curiosity and willingness to learn /liliOpen to occasionally travel across European and Asian locations /li /ulh3What we offer /h3ulliA key role in a new and innovative EV project /liliExposure to cutting-edge technologies and global collaboration /liliOpportunities for professional growth and skill development /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
