Based in Italy, we serve global clients by simplifying the complexity of international trade through AI and automation.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Junior Software Developer role located in Bologna.The Junior Software Developer will support the design, development, and maintenance of software tools in the customs domain that sustain the company's operational and consulting activities. The role focuses on contributing to new feature development, maintaining and improving existing systems, and ensuring the scalability and reliability of internal and client-facing applications.Key responsibilities include:Assisting in the development and enhancement of software tools used in customs and foreign trade processesMaintaining and improving the existing codebase to ensure performance, quality, and responsivenessManaging and maintaining data crawlers used for regulatory monitoring and data acquisitionSupporting data lifecycle management, including data collection, storage, processing, and archivalContributing to the scalability and robustness of the product architecturePerforming debugging, testing, and code reviewsCollaborating with cross-functional teams (consultants, compliance experts, and IT professionals) to translate business requirements into technical solutionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldStrong foundation in computer science concepts, including algorithms and data structuresProficiency in Back-End Web Development and software development processesExperience with programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)Knowledge of modern software development toolkits and version control systemsFamiliarity with database management, data handling, and RESTful API integrationUnderstanding of software scalability principles and data lifecycle management conceptsAbility to work in a collaborative team environment and communicate effectivelyRequirementsOn-site work location in Bologna
