What's the role?We are seeking a Construction Project Manager (CPM) capable of quickly adapting to a fast-paced, high-performance, international work environment. What does the role involve?The role focuses on increasing the market share of large projects in Italy or the local segments of international projects, collaborating with engineering and sales teams.
Main Responsibilities:
* Build and lead a capture team to maximize revenue and meet profitability standards (P&L) across an assigned project portfolio;
* Manage projects from acquisition through execution with an end-to-end approach;
* Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively;
* Ensure project compliance with local Hilti rules and guidelines.
Project Management
* Create project plans, set objectives, and define key success factors, allocate resources, and lead project teams from early stages;
* Hold regular meetings with relevant stakeholders from design to execution;
* Organize periodic internal meetings (capture team meetings) to ensure targets are met;
* Provide regular progress updates to the Sales VP regarding targeted projects.
Teamwork and Development
* Establish strong working relationships with all relevant Hilti functions, including Project Management Office, Fulfillment, Engineering, and Sales;
* Contribute ideas, share experiences on main applications (locally or globally), and coach colleagues.
What you need is:
* A Master’s Degree (engineering is a plus) or 3+ years of professional experience in sales management or project management within construction sites;
* Ability to manage complex commercial deals, meet sales targets, and adhere to execution deadlines while maintaining quality and profitability;
* Understanding of commercial, technical, financial, logistic, and legal aspects related to providing complex solutions involving products, services, and software;
* Ability to lead teams remotely and influence without direct authority, coaching and motivating in a matrix and international environment;
* Fluent in English and Italian;
* Willingness to travel and relocate.
