Key Responsibilities
Processing and supporting, named strategic Tenders and MSA’s (ITT/RFI/RFQ and similar), including but not limited to preparation of pricing and commercial bid documentation of highest quality in timely manner in cooperation with global / regional / local sales, procurement and tendering teams and other internal and external stakeholders
Tender planning and development of tender strategies in cooperation with the sales teams (Sales, GKAM, etc.)
Developing and maintaining close relationships with both our global supplier base and our internal pricing functions, allowing efficient and competitive pricing of tenders
Manage, enhance, and maintain tender and pricing tools and databases—such as tariff libraries, tender blocks, and reference repositories—ensuring alignment and continuous improvement in coordination with global, regional, and local stakeholders
Identifying, describing and assessing risks that can harm project participants, and proposing measures to avoid or limit them
Negotiating with subcontractors and optimizing the buying process
Support global and regional sales teams during bid presentations and negotiations for strategic tenders, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company objectives
Present the company in technical, commercial, and negotiation meetings at client premises, presenting proposals, addressing queries, and supporting deal closure
Reviewing contract terms and conditions, identifying, describing and assessing risks and proposing measures to avoid or limit them
Identifying and implementing best practices and lessons learned throughout tendering and pricing organization
Producing market intelligence, such as market reports, analysis and insights
Supporting business units in commercial strategies and decision making in close coordination with country / regional / global management
Contribute to sales management initiatives by developing new client relationships, shaping commercial strategies, and crafting customized proposals to secure new business opportunities
Provide strategic support to the sales team throughout the bid presentation and negotiation phases, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company objectives
Lead and coordinate a cross-functional team responsible for managing tenders and sales across the organization
Ensure alignment on priorities, foster collaboration, and drive accountability to meet deadlines and quality standards
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
Your successfully completed studies with a focus on logistics or trade and economics
Ideally, experience in pricing and tender management
Your motivation to work in an internationally operating company and already have experience in working with other countries and cultures
Your ability to prioritize, plan and control/monitor given tasks on a daily basis with a medium-term focus
Your enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment, while remaining focused under pressure
Your team player personality and strong hands‑on mentality
You have an excellent command of English and are also proficient in the Italian language, enabling you to operate effectively in an international environment
