The Commissioning Manager will be responsible for managing all commissioning activities for new data center projects, ensuring systems are designed, installed, tested, and operated according to the specified requirements. This role will collaborate closely with engineering, construction, and operations teams to achieve project milestones and operational readiness. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 pbCommissioning Process Support: /b /p ul liAssist in implementing the commissioning strategy at DATA4. /li liSupport the commissioning process for data centre projects, including systems such as electrical, mechanical, and BMS. /li liHelp develop and implement commissioning plans, protocols, and schedules. /li liCoordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and successful commissioning. /li liConduct site inspections and functional testing of systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards. /li liTroubleshoot and resolve issues during the commissioning process. /li liEnsure documentation is well prepared and maintained, including commissioning reports and system performance data. /li liProvide training and support to operations staff on system functionality and maintenance. /li liEnsure compliance with safety regulations and best practices throughout the commissioning process. /li liStay current with industry trends and advancements in commissioning practices and technologies. /li /ul pbTechnical Expertise and Representation: /b /p ul liServe as a knowledgeable resource on commissioning aspects of data centres. /li liProvide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders across various departments. /li liRepresent the company in external project meetings, discussions, and negotiations with vendors and consultants. /li liCommunicate clearly and concisely to both technical and non‑technical audiences, ensuring transparency and understanding. /li /ul pbContinuous Improvement: /b /p ul liIdentify opportunities for improvement in data centre mechanical systems and processes. /li liSupport the implementation of new technologies and best practices to enhance reliability, efficiency, and sustainability. /li liAnalyze data and performance metrics to identify areas for optimisation. /li /ul pbCustomer Management: /b /p ul liRepresent DATA4 in front of the final customer regarding commissioning strategy, process, and projects. /li /ul pbProcess Support: /b /p ul liAssist in defining and updating the process, inputs, workflows, and outputs (templates, references, decisions, roles and responsibilities, sub‑processes). /li liDocument the process at the operating level (operating manual). /li liDescribe digital needs, then requirements and their priority. /li liEstablish test steps to validate digital needs once delivered (follow up with defects up to resolution). /li liOutline end‑to‑end test scenarios, execute and validate applying the process into a pilot.
