We are looking for an IT Engineer to join our Reverse Tech remote team. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining the systems and tooling that keep our teams moving fast and secure. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across all of Reverse Tech, contributing to our mission of improving lives and changing the world through innovative digital solutions.
Responsibilities
What We Are Looking For:
Your mission: make “IT just works” a reality across the entire company – through smart automation, clean infrastructure, and proactive improvements rather than reactive fixes. You’ll own the systems that let every team at Reverse Tech focus on what matters.
This is a hands-on role for someone who sees a manual process and immediately thinks about how to automate it. We don’t need a traditional helpdesk person – we need someone who thinks in scripts, APIs, and workflows.
Requirements
* Some programming knowledge – Python scripting, working with APIs, and comfort with a “vibe coding” approach (using AI tools to build and iterate quickly).
* A strong systems-thinking mindset: you see a manual process and immediately think about how to automate it.
* Comfortable working with SaaS admin consoles, APIs, and cloud platforms.
* Highly proactive, independent, and comfortable making decisions with imperfect info.
* Great communicator who can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, from marketing team to senior management.
Note: We are open to promising juniors. No prior IT support experience is needed – what matters is your mindset, curiosity, and ability to figure things out.
Desired Skills
* Experience or familiarity with any part of our tech stack: Google Workspace, GCP, Jamf, Slack, Jira, Unixi, Retool, Notion.
* Familiarity with MDM platforms (Jamf, Kandji, or similar).
* Exposure to Zero Trust / identity-based security concepts (Chrome Enterprise, Cloudflare Access, etc.).
* Understanding of IAM, SAML SSO, and directory services.
* You’ll thrive here if you:
