Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Lead the team in product research, developing and executing strategies for acquiring new brands and identifying growth opportunities with partners.
2. Regularly review brand and category performance, compile reports identifying bestsellers and underperforming sales lines, and take actions to maximize seasonal results.
3. Identify the best tactics during the season to ensure the team meets KPIs before and after sales.
4. Maintain and/or develop relationships with suppliers and key industry stakeholders, creating and consolidating growth and marketing support opportunities.
5. Support visual merchandising by monitoring the website to ensure products are presented optimally, reporting any inaccuracies related to prices or information.
6. Present seasonal delivery forecasts to the sales and marketing teams.
7. Act as a "Brand Ambassador," representing the company at key appointments, fairs, and exhibitions.
8. Keep updated on competitors' activities and strategies.
Requirements
* Degree, preferably in Economics.
* Minimum 4 years of experience as a buyer, stylist, or merchandiser, ideally within a multi-brand online environment.
* Result-oriented; strong motivation to achieve objectives and KPIs.
* A creative yet analytical approach to purchasing, with the ability to think outside the box.
* Commercial skills: understanding of the business, products, and competition in the luxury goods sector.
* A flexible approach enabling effective work both independently and in a team.
* Proactivity, problem-solving skills, and a can-do attitude.
* Fluent in both English and Italian.
