Responsibilities
Development, implementation, and validation of advanced systems forseismic interferometry, with particular attention toreal-time analysisof data acquired fromseismic sensor networksin both temporary and permanent acquisition mode.Development of algorithms for seismic signal processing, dynamiccharacterization of sitesand structures,soil-structure interaction, as well asmonitoringof criticalinfrastructures.
The research activity is carried out within theMUR-FISAproject "MODERN– Advanced SeisMic InterferOmetry MethoDs and TechnologiEs for EngineeRiNg Seismology".
Qualifications
Eligible qualifications includeMaster's Degree (Laurea Magistrale) in Physics (LM-17), in Geological Sciences or Geological Sciences and Technologies (LM-74), and/or in Geophysical Sciences (LM-79), and/or in Civil Engineering (LM-23), and/or in Environmental and Territorial Engineering (LM-35), (pursuant to Ministerial Decree DM ******); or Specialist Degrees (Lauree Specialistiche) in Physics (20/S), in Geological Sciences or Geological Sciences and Technologies (86/S), and/or in Geophysical Sciences (85/S), and/or in Civil Engineering (28/S), and/or in Environmental and Territorial Engineering (38/S), (pursuant to Ministerial Decree DM ******); or old-system University Degrees (Diplomi di Laurea, "vecchio ordinamento") deemed equivalent to the aforementioned degree classes pursuant to the Interministerial Decree of 9 July **** and subsequent amendments.
Degrees declared equivalent under the current legislation shall also be admitted.Candidates holding a degree awarded abroad shall be admitted to the selection procedure on a provisional basis.In the event of successful completion of the selection, the successful candidates shall be required to submit an application for recognition (equivalence) of the foreign qualification to the Italian Ministry of University and Research within 15 days from the publication of the final ranking list, under penalty of exclusion from the recognition procedure.
At least three years of experience in the field relevant to this callat Universities and/or qualified public or private research institutions and centers, including foreign institutions, or possession of a PhD degree relevant to the required experience.
Good knowledge of spoken and written English and basic computer skills(to be assessed during the interview).
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and MATLAB.
Knowledge of the Italian languagefor candidates who arenot Italian citizens(to be assessed during the interview).
