We welcome candidates based in the following countries: Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Poland, the Netherlands, Turkey, Portugal, and Serbia, with a preference for candidates located near Ivrea (TO), Italy. /p h3Summary of the position /h3 pThe role leads and coordinates the Global Aftermarket Purchasing Team, working closely with the Global Purchasing Manager to manage and develop strategic suppliers. Key responsibilities include driving cost reduction initiatives (Cost Out projects), identifying and developing new strategic suppliers, supporting supplier negotiations, and managing the procurement of new product lines and new SKUs within the NPI process. The role also supports SOP initiatives and cross-functional supply chain projects to ensure alignment across the organization. /p h3Main duties responsibilities /h3 ul liSupervise the request for quotation (RFQ) process. /li liPrepare sourcing approval recommendations. /li liSupervision of request for quotations. /li liPrepare sourcing approval recommendations. /li liCoordination of commodity strategies and sourcing activities. /li liDefine contracts with vendors and suppliers on pricing, lead time and terms of agreement. /li liWork with SQE to set suppliers approval process. /li liAnalyze spend for savings opportunities (internal and external). /li liManage local teams and monitor Global Cost Out Projects. /li liMaintain consistent communication with suppliers (sampling) and Dayco engineering (testing) to ensure that new SKUs or COPs SKUs are approved. /li liInterface between suppliers and engineering/operations/marketing to answer any questions related to RFQ. /li liSearch and development of current and new suppliers. /li liSet and monitor KPIs (cost savings, payment terms, Supplier scorecards). /li liWork with buyers to maintain supplier profiles, supplier scorecards, supplier capabilities, supply agreements contracts files, price lists (through Suppliers Portal where active). /li liCoordinate the Suppliers Portal Administrator to keep the tool effective and updated. /li liSupport buyers to resolve any blocked invoices and resolve discrepancies related to price or quantity differences. /li liSupport buyers to work with PMs to support the procurement of new SKUs (NPI process). /li liWork with SQE to be sure that any supplier is in compliance with Dayco Quality system. /li liCoordinate the Team to support ISO‑9001 Quality Audits. /li liCollaboration with Global Purchasing Manager for strategic suppliers. /li /ul h3Requirements and skills /h3 ul liMinimum 7‑8 years of experience in purchasing roles in the Automotive Aftermarket. /li liFluency in English. /li liBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field. /li liData analysis and Excel advanced skills. /li liERP System knowledge (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards). /li liStrong sense of ownership and ability to work independently. /li liResults‑oriented with a strong focus on achieving targets. /li liTeam‑oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills. /li liStrong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities. /li liStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and support decision‑making. /li liAbility to manage and resolve conflicts constructively. /li liProactive mindset with the ability to propose innovative solutions and improvements. /li /ul h3More information /h3 ul liContract type: Permanent position. /li liWorkplace: All Europe – preference for candidates based near Ivrea (TO), Italy. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
