About the Client
Based in the Romania Excellence Centre, Bucharest, our client is a dynamic organization seeking experienced professionals who value teamwork, pioneering technology, and innovation. We are looking for a Business Functional Analyst to support the development and migration of digital banking solutions to Google Cloud.
The client’s Know Your Client application gathers information about potential customers, calculates risk, and determines acceptance through a workflow. The solution uses REACT (frontend), Java/Spring Boot (backend) and Oracle Exa-Database (storage). The application is currently hosted on‑premise; a migration to Google Cloud and rollout of new instances is in progress.

What You’ll Be Doing
Interpret regulatory policy changes and translate them into business and functional requirements for solution development and implementation.
Create and execute roadmaps that focus on solution development, present key timelines, milestones and status updates to senior management, and conduct strategic discussions independently.
Refine business requirements and align globally across all seven locations in Central Europe, Germany, APAC and the US.
Prepare senior‑management slides to package problem statements clearly for both IT and non‑IT stakeholders, and communicate effectively via email, Word and PowerPoint.
Collaborate with project management, software engineering and vendors to support the link between business divisions and solution providers for all aspects of solution implementation and maintenance.
Document requirements, processes and controls in Confluence and Jira.
Maintain and prioritise product backlogs.
Support pre‑go‑live change management and assist with SIT and UAT phases.
Handle production issues, taking full ownership until resolution and coordinating with required parties.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
At least 5 years of professional experience in the described role or a similar one.
