We have a current opening for a VP of Trade Marketing and are actively reviewing applicants.The VP of Trade Marketing is accountable for the in‐store activity plan to execute brand strategy at retail for the entire Ferrero USA portfolio (all categories and all brands). This includes developing and cascading the Go to Market plans detailing the execution standards for distribution, shelving, merchandising, and pricing (DSMP). This position owns the portfolio level in‐store activity calendar, making prioritization decisions on what to execute at retail. The position also owns the Financial KPI attainment for all brands. This position supports and provides thought leadership among key cross‐functional internal relationships, including Category Management, Marketing, Revenue Management, Demand Planning, and Sales Account Teams.This is a hybrid position, three days on‐site and two days remote.Main Responsibilities:In‐Store Activity Strategy Manages team to develop in‐store activity plans to execute brand strategies at retailDevelop Go to Markets plans including execution standards for distribution, shelving, merchandising, pricing by Class of TradeCreate KPI objectives aligned by Class of Trade trends and strategyDevelop prioritized tentpole activity plan across portfolioDefine in‐store execution objectivesResponsible for the development and execution of in‐store activations and POSPartner with customer teams and Marketing to develop actionable plans to drive accelerated growth or improve profitabilityDevelop trade and consumer unit pack/price architecture framework to deliver strategic channel and customer opportunities Annual Planning & Trade Investment Develop and maintain the long‐term planning for the trade marketing function on the horizon of 1‐3 yearsEnsure proper lead time and content for best‐in‐class innovation launches, meeting customer lead timesSupports the planning and execution of seasonal and everyday portfolioProvides input to S&OP process on changes in distribution, promotion, customer/channel strategyDevelop Trade Investment strategy in partnership with revenue management for each brand aligned to customer and brand strategy About You: Bachelor's degree in a business/marketing discipline required; MBA preferred15+ years relevant experience required, CPG Foods experience is preferred with Customer Management ExperienceMulti‐channel CPG experience including C‐store, Mass, Grocery, Dollar, Club, e‐Comm & DiscountersSignificant experience of Brand / Trade / Customer Marketing, supporting delivery of effective JBP'sInspirational leadership and management style that promotes teamwork and nurtures top talentStrong decision making and interpersonal skills with an ability to influence at the most Senior levelsCommercially astute with strong business sense and excellent problem solving / analytical skillsManagement presentation competencies to effectively present key category insights in front of internal and external stakeholdersExperience managing a team to deliver results Compensation DataThe base salary range for this position is $196,000 - $261,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job‐related factors permitted by law.
