The “Internship” Level is the main entry point into ELC, important to understand the work environment within a dynamic and multinational context, to get to know the world of beauty and to have a highly formative experience regardless of role and function. #ELC Retail Sales & Business Intelligence Analyst Assistant The Retail Sales & Business Intelligence Analyst Assistant Intern supports the business by transforming market and internal sales data into actionable insights to drive retail performance across brands, franchises, and key customers. This role contributes to the extraction, consolidation, and analysis of retail sales data from multiple sources, including market panels and internal systems, enabling the organization to monitor performance, identify growth opportunities, and support commercial decision-making. The position also contributes to the development of automated analytical tools and standardized reporting models that improve data accessibility and support business planning processes. The internship has a strong educational component and allows the intern to develop solid analytical skills, gain exposure to commercial dynamics, and collaborate with brand, sales, and finance teams while supporting retail performance analysis. This internship provides the opportunity to develop a strong data-driven mindset and understand how analytics can translate retail data into actionable business insights. Key Performance Areas Extract, consolidate, and analyze retail sales data from market sources and internal systems to support performance tracking across brands, franchises, and key retail partners Monitor sell-out performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks across channels and customers Support the development and maintenance of automated analytical models and reporting tools using Excel and BI systems Work with data from SAP Business Intelligence (SAP BI) and other internal platforms Support the Gross-to-Net conversion process, ensuring accurate translation of retail sales data into commercial performance indicators Provide regular reporting and ad-hoc analyses to commercial and brand teams to support business reviews and planning Ensure consistency and accuracy of data across multiple sources and reporting frameworks Contribute to the continuous improvement of data automation and reporting efficiency Support basic cost monitoring and reconciliation activities related to Indirect Costs, ensuring alignment between sales data, commercial investments, and reporting
Requirements Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Management Engineering, Statistics, or a related analytical field Strong analytical curiosity and interest in data and business performance Proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn and develop new skills Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel Interest in data analysis, retail performance, and market insights Attention to detail and ability to work with structured datasets Positive attitude and ability to collaborate with different teams
