Working alongside the QHSE Manager, the new colleague will be responsible for operational and managerial activities related to Health, Safety, and Environment, supporting operations in achieving compliance with legislative requirements and corporate standards, promoting a strong safety culture, and enabling continuous improvement. /ppThe position is based in Brugherio (MB). /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliSupport the implementation and continuous improvement of the HSE management system, collaborating with the QHSE Manager and RSPP in periodic activities (e.g., follow-up on corrective and preventive actions, data collection and monitoring of KPIs). /liliIdentify HSE training needs in line with legal requirements and corporate guidelines for each role; organize, coordinate and provide training programs to meet these needs. /liliCoordinate activities related to risk assessments (DUVRI Documento Unico Valutazione Rischi Interferenze) and ensure contractors’ compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. /liliDevelop procedures, guidelines, and supporting documentation providing information and instructions on how to manage and prevent risks, with a particular focus on lock out – tag out (LOTO) procedures. /liliFor Brugherio site oversee waste management compliance, ensuring accurate records and adherence to regulations (RENTRI); for the other sites, monitor and check. /li /ulh3Your Profile /h3ulliUniversity degree in a technical or scientific discipline (preferably Techniques of Prevention in the Environment and Workplaces, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or Workplace Safety Engineering). /liliMinimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role preferred. /liliAdditional certifications such as Safety Trainer or ASPP are considered a plus. /liliExperience in delivering safety training is an advantage. /liliSolid knowledge of occupational health and safety as well as environmental legislation. /liliStrong interest in prevention, topics of prevention and protection of workers. /liliExcellent problem-solving, teamwork, and organizational skills. /liliWillingness to travel to the company's other locations once/twice a month. /liliGood command of English, both written and spoken. /li /ulh3We offer /h3pA dynamic and international environment where safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement are at the core of our culture. /ph3Why Oerlikon /h3pInnovation and innovators thrive at Oerlikon, a leader in engineering solutions that enhance the performance of our products and services.
