THE POSITION
The candidate will join the pharmaceutical industry in a very dynamic and challenging environment as a Demand Specialist. With this role, the candidate will be reporting to the Demand Manager within Supply Chain Management of Boehringer Ingelheim in Milan.
Responsibilities:
* Planning of finished product orders based on the sales forecast
* Support to the Sales and Operation Process Governance
* Inventory management (stock level control, DOI, avoiding stock-out and surplus)
* Accountability for Material Master Data Management for finished products
* Key contact person to Local and Global functions/teams
* Coordinate and support customs clearance process management for goods coming from extra-EU Countries
* Provide with weekly and monthly local/global reports (ie: stock coverage, out of stock tracking, Forecast Accuracy, Supply impact report, Back order, etc)
* Local GRP and BIX@ coordinator, Logistic incident Management, Starter and Requester for planning SKU
* Monitor goods receipt at local 3PL warehouse and inbound process
Requirements:
* Strong interest in planning and logistics
* Good knowledge of MS Office and possibly SAP ERP, GRP, BIX@
* Preferred Degree in Engineering or Economics
* Fluent English written and oral communication skills
* Good analytical skills, working with large data sets
* Good communication, organizational and Team working skills
* Ability to thrive under pressure
* Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
