Overview
We are looking for a
Technical Support Specialist
to join Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, remote-based in
Italy
or
Germany
, reporting to the Technical Support Manager.
The role operates in an international environment and provides second level support by resolving customer problems and issues through technical expertise and troubleshooting on
Automation Platforms
.
The goal is to drive service targets while ensuring strong customer satisfaction and retention, apply critical thinking to rapidly repair instrumentation, train customers and Service Engineers, support the Applications Team, and verify operational performance and data quality of systems to support the commercial organization.
You will operate independently in the Italian/Germany territory and in Europe when needed (overnight travel as required) to provide excellent customer service to clients while installing and maintaining automation instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments.
We work as a team to share standard methodologies, mentor, and receive experienced technical support.
Responsibilities
Provide second level technical support for Automation Platforms, resolving customer issues through troubleshooting and expertise.
Drive service targets and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Train customers and Service Engineers; support the Applications Team; verify operational performance and data quality of systems.
Install and maintain automation instrumentation and systems in hospital and standalone laboratory environments.
Work independently in Italy or Germany territory and, as needed, across Europe (overnight travel when required).
Collaborate with the team to share standard methodologies and provide mentorship and support.
Qualifications
Biomedical engineer or equivalent.
At least 5 years of Technical Support or Field Service experience in the Diagnostics market.
Early careers are welcome if there is troubleshooting experience from thesis or internships.
Proficient English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
Ability to travel across the country and periodic travel to other European countries; overnight travel required.
A current valid driver's license is required.
