Camera operator for dance performances (july 21st to july 26th, 2025) (milano)

We are hiring one or two camera operators to join our team from July 21st to July 26th, 2025 Monday to Saturday to film and live-stream a dance event in Milan, Italy. Cameras and gears are not required as the camera operator will be using company equipment. Fluency in English is required to communicate with the team and clients. Experience with Canon line of cameras and livestream on Youtube is a plus. Passion or appreciation for dance, especially classical and contemporary dance, is a plus! **Event date**s: July 21st to July 26, 2025 **Theaters**: : Teatro Carcano (Most of the days) and Teatro Arcimboldi Monday, July 21, 8:30am - 3:30pm Tuesday, July 22, 8:30am - 3:30pm Wednesday, July 23, 8:30am - 3:30pm Thursday, July 24, 8:30am - 3:30pm Friday, July 25, 8:30am - 3:30pm Saturday, July 26, 8:30pm to 11pm (1/2 day rate) **Compensation**:250 euros per day (up to 10 hours). 1/2 day rate is $125 for 4 hours or less. Additional hours beyond 10 hours will be compensated at 30 euros per hour. Payment will be paid via PayPal. Please note that the W8-BEN form is required as we are a US based company. **Qualifications**: - Experience operating a video camera is a must. Must be able to follow dancer, with smooth panning, zoom and and out as needed.
- Knowledgeable in Canon line cameras preferred
- Knowledgeable in how to store and save captured data (backing up memory cards, reformat memory card (double checking with team prior to reformatting), etc.)
- Experience shooting live performances; experience with dance recitals or dance competitions is a plus
- Degree in film production, videography, video production, or similar preferred **Responsibilities**: - Capturing dance performances at competitions or recitals and any other footage as required
- Professional demeanor in front of clients and audience while on the shoot **Requirements**: - Reliable transportation to and from the event
