Ph3Classification /h3 pExempt /p h3Job Summary /h3 pThe role of bWarehouse Manager /b is responsible for managing the activities associated with inbound and outbound warehouse operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, managing activities related to product receiving, product replenishment, order selection, order loading, expense and revenue management, ensuring abidance of government regulations, providing management and direction to warehouse staff and ensuring safety and security of the inbound and outbound warehouse departments. /p h3Essential Functions /h3 ul liManages the daily work and safety of the warehouse, supervisors and other associates. /li liEnsures the efficient management of labor hours and consumable supplies within budget and work schedules including extra work days and shifts as needed. /li liManages the proper selection, purchase and utilization of Company assets in support of warehouse operations. /li liDevelops business relationships to ensure communication and efficient operations with third party vendors. /li liReviews the management of shipping and loading audits ensuring all required documentation is accurately completed that material is handled and stored correctly with a minimum potential for loss. /li liSuggests efficiency ideas, cost reduction measures and assists with the implementation of changes within inbound and outbound warehouse operations. /li liInterprets trains and consistently enforces Company policies and procedures. /li liCoordinates efforts with Safety to aid in training, conducting associate observations, and routine safety inspections. /li liPerforms management functions of staff selection, development, discipline, performance reviews and/or terminations. /li liComplies with local, state and federal regulatory agencies. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liPrefer one-year parts/warehouse related experience. /li liExcellent verbal and written communication skills. /li liMust have good organizational skills. /li liExperience dealing with the public in a sales/service capacity. /li liKnowledge of company specific software. /li /ul h3Typical Physical Activity /h3 pWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee must have the ability to occasionally lift 75 pounds from floor to chest; reach and use the arms with a full range of motion; endure prolonged standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and squatting while performing mechanical operations; exert push and pull forces with the arms in order to use various wrenches and tools; endure prolonged forward and overhead arm positions while performing mechanical operations; use hands to grasp hand tools and parts and climb onto and operate equipment. /p h3Typical Environmental Conditions /h3 pEmployee regularly works indoors around moving mechanical parts. May be exposed to weather extremes when working outside in conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity. Noise level may be loud at times. Exposure to small quantities of chemicals, dust, steam, high-pressure water, and high speed rotating equipment. Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment.
