The Materials Buyer is responsible of purchasing activities of assigned Purchase Requisitions in compliance with Corporate and Project Procedures and under the supervision of the Purchasing Group Leader.

Key Activities & Responsibilities
· preparation of bidder lists;
· commercial tabulation of suppliers offers
· economic and contractual (T&Cs) negotiation of orders and associated purchasing terms and conditions
· issue of Purchase Orders and any revision
· support and cooperate with the Project Procurement Manager / Coordinator during the development of the supplies in case of any commercial problem with Vendors (such as claims, change order request, Liquidated Damages discussion, etc.)
Requirements:
· diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or in a relevant technical discipline;
· 5-10 years' experience within an engineering company or in an electrical-related industrial environment;
· prior experience in electrical procurement, engineering, proposal or design departments will be considered xdwybme a strong asset;
· solid knowledgeof electrical materials and equipment, applicable international standards, and main electrical Vendors;
· proficiency in SAP for purchasing and supplies management;
· full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken;
· availability totravel for short periods in Italy and abroad.
