The Engineering Lead acts as the primary technical reference for assigned components across vehicle programs. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Technical Ownership /h3 ul liServe as the technical reference for electric coolant pumps, valve systems and thermal management modules across vehicle platforms. /li liDefine and maintain component-level and system-level technical requirements. /li liSupport design decisions, trade‑off analyses and architectural choices within the thermal system. /li /ul h3Component and System Development /h3 ul liSupport the design, development and validation of thermal components in collaboration with internal teams and suppliers. /li liEnsure performance, durability, efficiency and manufacturability targets are achieved. /li liContribute to DFMEA, design reviews and validation planning. /li /ul h3Standards and Documentation /h3 ul liDevelop, maintain and improve engineering standards, specifications and guidelines related to pumps, valves and thermal modules. /li liSupport the alignment of supplier technical documentation with internal engineering standards. /li /ul h3Issue Resolution and Problem Solving /h3 ul liProvide technical support during all development phases, from concept to production and field issues. /li liAnalyze system behavior and interactions within cooling loops, identifying root causes and corrective actions. /li liSupport performance optimization activities related to flow control, energy efficiency and thermal response. /li /ul h3Cross‑Functional Integration /h3 ul liCollaborate with: /li liHVAC and refrigerant system teams /li liBattery thermal management teams /li liEDU and power electronics cooling teams /li liControls and software teams /li liSimulation, vehicle integration and validation teams /li liEnsure proper integration of thermal components into the overall Vehicle Thermal Management strategy. /li /ul h3Required Skills and Competencies /h3 ul liStrong system‑level thinking and ability to manage technical complexity. /li liSolid understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, electromechanical systems and control logic. /li liAbility to communicate technical concepts clearly to multidisciplinary teams. /li liStructured problem‑solving approach and ability to work in a dynamic development environment. /li /ul h3Education and Experience /h3 h3Required /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics or a related STEM discipline. /li liUnderstanding of automotive product development processes and engineering deliverables. /li liExperience in defining technical requirements and supporting component integration. /li liStrong collaboration and communication skills. /li /ul h3Preferred /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Applied Physics or related fields. /li liExperience with electric pumps, valves, thermal modules or fluid distribution systems. /li liExposure to automotive thermal management systems. /li liExperience interacting with suppliers and supporting validation activities. /li /ul pAt Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs.
