About the Role
Inside Electronic department, as Head of Product Functional Safety and Cybersecurity, leads the design and the implementation of Functional Safety and Cybersecurity of IVG products through development and the entire vehicle lifecycle.
Main responsabilities:
* Guides the team allowing the programs to achieve concrete results by ensuring Functional Safety and Cybersecurity timing and quality deliverables for all the projects collaborating with other Electronics teams, Product Engineering and Product Validation, Manufacturing, ICT, etc.
* Ensures regular Functional Safety and Cybersecurity status reporting with Product Engineering Leaders and Governance.
* Defines and manages the Functional Safety and Cybersecurity budget in alignment with other Electronics Leads, Product Engineering Leads and Platform Managers.
* Leads the definition and the correct implementation of Functional Safety and Cybersecurity strategy and roadmap and the related alignment with component and architecture roadmaps with all other Electronics Leads.
* Manages escalation on Functional Safety and Cybersecurity with Suppliers to ensure resolution of criticalities.
Requirements:
* A degree in Electronical or Computer Engineering, or a similar field
* At least 8 years of professional experience within the field of both functional safety (ISO 26262) and cyber security (UNECE ISO 21434 and Reg155) and a strong interest in developing yourself further within this field
* Experience in Automotive Electronic Systems development with knowledge of Vehicle Electronic Architectures and Applications, including CAN communication: SAE J1939 protocols, ISO 14229 UDS diagnostic protocol
* Profound experience in automotive applications. Experience in Tier1 company and the R&D field would be a great asset
* Excellent moderation and negotiation skills as well as experience in addressing and driving topics within cross-functional teams.
* A systematic approach to analyze safety and security products as well as good understanding of confirmation methods, including audit and assessment.
* Solid experience in project and program management
* Solid experience in budget management
* Identification of market and technology trends
* Solid experience in electronic component design, qualification, engineering, and integration
* Experience and knowledge in SW & HW requirements definition
* General knowledge about vehicle usage & vehicle sub-systems
* Knowledge about regulatory requirements (e.G.: UNECE Regulation 155, GSR)
* Knowledge about communication standards
* Knowledge about Functional Safety Security standard (ISO 26262)
* Knowledge about Cyber Security standards (ISO 21434)
* Good knowledge of Vector solutions (e.G.: CANanalyzer)
* Knowledge of vehicle electronics architecture and applications including CAN communication, J1939 protocols and ISO-11783
