You will ensure that “lessons learned” and best practices are applied on projects and transferred to new projects. You will be the main Engineering Interface with the customer. /p pA big part of your role is to define the implementation of the project jointly with the PM and the Site Manager. You will manage all engineering activities for designated projects (Signalling and/or Wayside) and the engineering labour budgets; define and track engineering deliverables; identify and capture input requirements from technical meetings with customer and internal stakeholders and distribute to system engineering; technically support ITC activities. /p h3Key responsibilities /h3 ul liTo lead all aspects of design, implementation, testing and commissioning required to deliver the scope of the engineering project to satisfy customer requirements while adhering to project budgets and schedules. /li liEstablish and maintain interfaces with other Engineering departments with relevant functions (Project Management, Procurement, Operations, Sales, Bids). /li liMonitor, control and report monthly all product related financial aspects of the project consistent with the contract requirements and established project management procedures to attain established goals. /li liContinuous optimization of Project Engineering processes/tools/behaviors by considering business requirements, customer needs, technical innovations, and new market conditions. /li liEnsuring that relevant skills are made available by the Engineering Function in order to fulfill project requirements. /li /ul h3Qualifications Functional Knowledge /h3 ul liMinimum 2/3 years of experience postgraduate. /li liMinimum 2 years of leadership experience. /li liInterdisciplinary technical background (traditional railway signalling, ERTMS, SCADA, power supply, data networks, civil works, etc.). /li liProject Management experience and/or skills. /li liInterest to extend technical skills. /li liSignalling background and knowledge on signalling systems preferred. /li liGood knowledge of Italian and English. /li /ul pYou don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
