The role interfaces closely with suppliers and cross‑functional teams across Europe. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead the review, validation, and approval of PPAP submissions (Level 2 and equivalent) across multiple programs /li liEnsure compliance with engineering, regulatory, and customer requirements /li liValidate dimensional reports, control plans, PFMEA, material certifications, test results, and MSA studies /li liPrepare and approve Part Submission Warrants (PSW) and associated documentation /li liOwn and manage Supplier Change Requests (SCRs) end‑to‑end, including risk assessment, validation, and approval workflows /li liMaintain accurate documentation, revision control, and audit readiness /li liCoordinate closely with suppliers to resolve gaps and drive timely corrective actions /li liMonitor and analyze supplier KPIs such as PPM, OTD, NCRs, and responsiveness /li liDevelop and maintain supplier performance dashboards and reporting tools /li liIdentify performance trends, systemic issues, and improvement opportunities through data analysis /li liLead supplier performance reviews and drive accountability for results /li liInitiate and manage SCARs and 8D processes for performance issues /li liDefine and execute supplier improvement plans based on KPI performance /li liSupport standardization of performance metrics and reporting across the region /li liOwn SQ deliverables for NPD projects at Hinowa plant level /li liLead or participate in APQP and supplier readiness activities /li liEnsure suppliers meet quality, timing, and industrialization requirements for new launches /li liIdentify, assess, and mitigate supplier‑related risks during development phases /li liSupport design and process changes impacting suppliers /li liSupplier Industrialization Continuous Improvement /li liValidate supplier capabilities, capacity, and quality systems /li liSupport supplier readiness for serial production and ramp‑up phases /li liApply Lean and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance supplier performance /li liLead or support Supplier Continuous Improvement Events (CIEs) /li liDrive implementation and adherence to standard work and SQ processes /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field /li li5+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Supply Chain Engineering /li liStrong expertise in PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and change management processes /li liProven experience managing supplier quality in an OEM or automotive‑like environment /li liAbility to interpret engineering drawings, GDT, and technical specifications /li liExperience with supplier performance metrics and data analysis (PPM, OTD, etc.) /li liAbility to travel up to 25% /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience in automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial OEM environments /li liCertification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) or Quality Core Tools /li liFamiliarity with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 standards /li liExperience with QMS systems, supplier portals, and PPAP platforms /li liStrong data analysis capabilities (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools) /li /ul h3Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities /h3 ul liExperience in automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial OEM environments /li liCertification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) or Quality Core Tools /li liFamiliarity with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 standards /li liExperience with QMS systems, supplier portals, and PPAP platforms /li liStrong data analysis capabilities (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools) /li /ul pPrimarily office‑based with regular interaction with manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers.
