The opportunity
EY Mauritius is looking for a Senior Consultant to join our FAAS CORE team. This is an opportunity to work at the centre of complex accounting, reporting and regulatory matters, helping leading organisations respond to business change with clarity and confidence. You will work closely with clients across a broad range of sectors, supporting high‐impact advisory engagements while building deep technical expertise and commercial acumen.
What you will do
As a Senior Consultant in FAAS CORE, you will contribute to the delivery of high‐quality accounting advisory and financial reporting support to clients, while helping drive engagement execution and mentoring junior team members.
Your key responsibilities
- Support the delivery of technical accounting advice and client solutions on complex accounting and financial reporting matters.
- Contribute to accounting and regulatory change projects, helping clients interpret requirements and implement practical solutions.
- Stay current with industry developments, emerging issues and regulatory updates, bringing insight and curiosity to every engagement.

Skills and attributes for success
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across all levels of an organisation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- ACCA/ACA/CA part‐qualified or qualified.
- Typically, 3–5 years of relevant experience in audit, accounting advisory or finance transformation.
