Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the end-to-end delivery of the Synthetics Product Line (Virtual Platform, Synthetic Environment, and Simulation Framework) for GCAP HC. You will drive cross-domain integration, governance, and V&V to support certification, training, and operational analysis. You will partner with multiple domains and suppliers to converge tools, data models, and processes within a digital thread framework. You will shape the product roadmap and continuously improve delivery performance in a multi-partner environment.
Retribuzione / Benefits Own the delivery and lifecycle management of Synthetics products and services (VP, SE, Simulation Framework, scenario libraries, models, visualization, data capture, analytics)
Provide expertise in modeling and simulation, co-simulation, distributed simulation, and HIL/SIL/MIL integration
Translate business needs into roadmaps, plans, and backlogs across analysis, design, integration, testing, certification, and training
Define processes and work instructions for Synthetics with integration to Digital Thread, PLM, requirements, test management, and data lake
Ensure on‐time delivery within scope, budget, and quality targets (fidelity, determinism, latency, frame rate)
Manage upgrades, obsolescence, and lifecycle changes across toolchains, baselines, and environments
Capture and consolidate requirements across partners to drive convergence on toolsets and methods
Communicate vision, risks, and progress to technical and non-technical audiences with clear roadmaps
Lead workforce initiatives and standardized training for processes and methods
Coordinate delivery across internal teams, partners, and suppliers with RACI and interface control
Monitor performance, fidelity, risks, and dependencies; drive continuous service improvement
Balance near‐term delivery with long‐term architecture and data strategy for modular, secure capabilities
Ensure interoperability across tools and simulator hardware for Synthetics activities
Support vendor and technology management, SLAs, and performance reviews
Contribute to technology evaluations, PoCs, and tool selection (co-simulation, HIL interfaces, orchestration, visualization, model repositories)
Drive innovation including CI/CD for models, containerization, GPU acceleration, AI‐assisted scenario generation, and MBSE integration
Responsabilità 5+ years in a similar defense or aerospace role with modeling and simulation or synthetic environments
Degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field
Service Management certification or ITIL experience
Project or Programme Management qualification (APM, Prince2) or demonstrable complex delivery experience
Experience delivering MMS solutions in multi‐partner environments and strong knowledge of engineering processes, data governance, and digital thread
Experience with cross‐functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, IT, quality, system integrators)
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities across domains
Strong delivery mindset with experience in waterfall, agile, or hybrid models
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement, able to translate technical concepts for non‐technical audiences
Experience with synthetics technologies including simulation frameworks, virtual platforms, distributed simulation, and HIL/SIL/MIL integration
