About the Role
The Material Planner will be responsible for procuring components necessary to meet production plan schedules.
This includes analyzing MRP inputs, releasing purchase orders to authorized suppliers, and managing inventory levels.
Additionally, the Material Planner will collaborate with suppliers, implement KPIs to monitor supplier performance, and update supplier data in the system.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze MRP inputs regularly to ensure right level of availability and inventory value
* Release purchase orders for assigned portfolio to authorized suppliers according to lead time and quality agreement
* Phase-in and phase-out components as part of design change process
* Analyze portfolio and set procurement parameters, safety stock in alignment with target inventory
* Print orders, transmit to suppliers and fold them properly
* Closely collaborate with suppliers and check delivery dates according to purchase orders released
* Manage returns of hesitant components and updated supplier data in the system
Requirements
* High school degree or University Degree
* Previous experience in Supply Chain / Material Planning / Purchasing Operational
* Very Good knowledge of English language both written and verbal
* Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and strong orientation to interpersonal relationships
* Critical sense and organizational skills
* Ability to work in a team
