The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role and hold the relevant CySEC certifications. If you have the necessary skills and experience, this Nicosia-based Head of Compliance position offers an excellent opportunity to join a company that values its people as its greatest asset and provides a platform for professional growth and career progression. /p h3MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 ul liHaving overall responsibility for the company’s Compliance function. /li liMaintaining excellent understanding of the relevant regulatory requirements and providing guidance and advice to management and other colleagues. /li liDeveloping, maintaining, and updating compliance and AML manuals, policies, procedures, and controls. /li liDeveloping and implementing a risk-based compliance monitoring program. /li liUpdating and implementing ongoing monitoring procedures for Corporate Authorised Representative, distributors or affiliate arrangements and reviewing the Company’s marketing material and affiliates on an ongoing basis. /li liConducting reviews/audits of departments, key business and other processes and activities to ensure the continued adherence to and effective implementation of policies, procedures, and regulations. /li liIdentifying, examining, and reporting suspicious activities related to money laundering and terrorist financing. /li liTaking corrective action in case compliance violations are observed. /li liHaving responsibility for the compliance risk assessment process, ensuring that all compliance risks are appropriately identified, assessed, reported, and monitored. /li liActing as the designated Compliance and AML Officer for CYSEC. /li liHandling all regulatory communication and acting as the contact person with CYSEC. /li liPreparing and submitting periodic and ad hoc reports to CYSEC and the Board of Directors. /li liLeading, managing, and developing the company’s Compliance team. /li liPromoting and enhancing a strong company-wide compliance culture. /li liDelivering internal trainings on compliance-related matters, including internal policies and procedures, the application of guidelines, standards and relevant regulatory requirements. /li /ul h3CANDIDATE PROFILE /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Law, Finance or other related field. /li liHolder of the Advanced and AML CYSEC Certifications. /li liAt least 3 years of experience in a similar role. /li liExcellent knowledge of English, both verbal and written. /li liComputer literacy. /li liDynamic, hands‑on and results driven. /li liCommercial orientation and awareness. /li liPractical approach in understanding and applying regulatory requirements. /li liAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. /li liSelf‑motivated with an ability to work autonomously. /li liTeam player. /li /ul pDue to the high volume of applications we receive at GRS Recruitment only shortlisted candidates will be responded to. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
