We are seeking a skilled Event Operations Coordinator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of all meetings, events, and banquets, ensuring alignment with event orders and hotel standards.
This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication in both Italian and English.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising operations across 5 meeting rooms and 1 ballroom, with capacities up to 500 guests.
They will act as on-site contact for clients and event organizers during functions, lead pre-shift briefings with permanent and casual staff, and ensure mise en place is completed prior to each event.
Main Responsibilities:
* Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of all meetings, events, and banquets
* Supervise operations across 5 meeting rooms and 1 ballroom
* Act as on-site contact for clients and event organizers during functions
* Lead pre-shift briefings with permanent and casual staff
* Evaluate and improve operational efficiency
* Guarantee smooth transition between consecutive events or multiple set-ups in the same day
Skill Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in an upscale or luxury hotel environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication in both Italian and English
* Proficient in the use of Simphony POS and Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills
